r.crumb’s book of genesis: exhibition

R. Crumb’s The Book of Genesis, which I issued here before, was published in October 2009. It must have made the desired effect on the readers and cultural spheres, therefore, it has been opened on March 4 at Chelsea’s David Zwirner.

Air is Back

The second volume of Air, which is a comic book written by G. Willow Wilson and illustrated by M. Kutlukhan Perker, is out on the shelves this week. I have also written to introduce the first volume before. Wired Magazine has interviewed G. W. Wilson about Air. You can read the interview here.

Homo Loserus [ilk Ihsan]

The comic character, Ilk Ihsan, of a renowned Turkish caricaturist, Emrah Ablak, came into life in Cihan Arici’s animating talents and intuitions. Arici has a website that he puts his cartoons and other art work on display: fitifiti.tv
