the moment of death
Kerry Skarbakka takes photographs of the instances immediately before death. “And,” goes on the newspaper I have read, “but it is so hard to find the right instant–and don’t worry he does not plot murders just to take photos”.
The models in those pictures are being held by invisible chords. His most recent exhibition was in 2009 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Check out his website to see his upcoming exhibitions or shows in which he makes people jump from a building and then take picures and video together with the suicide lover audience on the ground level… if you believe what I say.
His new interest is “the fluid.” I think, you see the drift here. Drowning and that kind of fluidity…
