Anagram Bookshop in Prague, Czech Republic, launched an ad campaign with the title: “Words create Worlds”. The campaign is produced by the company Kaspan.
I remember, one night I was trying to read Moby Dick intoxicated and under a very dim light on the floor, when I was in college. The environmental and physical factors around and within me: intoxication. lack of sight. the cold. very cold. hyper sensitivity. extreme focusing. oh, and the music. The environmental factors caused me to dive into the lines of the book and emerge a stupendous whale and Ishmael, Captain Ahab, The Pequod. I felt like I was walking around the words each are also in the shape of the things that they refer to. Moby Dick has become the most impressive book I have ever read by that time. I wish I could read each book like that.
But apparently it will not be possible until I get old enough to enjoy reading a book like that. As we modern people do not have much time to enjoy a book like that. Oh, I need to read a few more hundred pages before…
