Tax the Rich

There are countries and their conscientious cultures, which define the country’s worldview. Like Russia, Jamaica, Norway—and of course Germany.

October 23rd BBC News reported that “a group of rich Germans has launched a petition calling for the government to make wealthy people pay higher taxes.”

The report goes on to state that “the group says they have more money than they need, and the extra revenue could fund economic and social programmes to aid Germany’s economic recovery. Germany could raise 100bn euros (£91bn) if the richest people paid a 5% wealth tax for two years, they say.”

taxes

This petition (and the petitioners being rich themselves) is indiscernible for me, as I live in a country where the rich are trying to fake their business books in order to pay less tax to the government and trick their employees in order not to pay their due worth. Probably, this is the common profile for the rich all around the world and the most probably most of the rich in Germany is no exception—except for these petitioners. Nevertheless, there is no other precedent of such a petition from another country or people, yet. And that could be nobody but Germans.

Germany as a country and mostly German people are more conscious about extra-social and environmental phenomena than most other countries.

But still, there are people, who can fit into the general dyslexia within the globe. People, for instance, who are paying monthly fee to the Protestant Church, which was founded against the idea that Catholic Church was gratuitously charging money from the believers and principalities.

I will talk about how the globe is silently moving back to Scholasticism. (Remember yesterday’s post about Texas jury referencing to the Bible for deciding on an execution of a convict) But this is not the time to do it.

In this post, we have praised the rich Germans who signed petition to tax the rich.
